    I used to lug a console with me on the road. Those days are gone. This thing is awesome, the screen is sharp and clear. It is powerful and fast. Runs big games with ease, steam store is awesome, huge selection of titles. Battery life can be short depending on what game you are playing and sometimes the cooling fan is a bit loud. Overall, excellent product. 10/10 highly recommend.

    Steam deck is amazing. I am able to play a lot of my favorite games on it and it runs super smooth. Quite lightweight and very comfortable in my hands. Battery life allows for hours of play before running low. Overall, a great purchase and would recommend for any one interested in quality mobile gaming.

    My son wanted this game system for his 10th birthday. I was hesitant because I don’t know much about this system but he loves it! Plays with it everyday and even travels with it! It was worth the money. We’ve had it since July and it’s still in perfect condition. My favorite part is the case it came with to keep it safe while traveling!

    I got this product after doing a lot of research. I even compared the LCD vs OLED, I figured that the only time I’m really going to notice a difference is if I game consistently outside in the sun which I don’t, so I got the LCD version. Only complaint I have is that if you’re playing a game that uses a lot of resources (graphics, processor, etc) it’s going to end up using a lot more battery so you’ll be lucky to get about two hours worth of play time. It takes roughly the same amount of time for the battery to be fully charged with the provided power pack, so be mindful of that. You can get some accessories to increase your gaming time (battery packs, etc).

    The Steam Deck is an absolute beast for a handheld gaming device. Can play most of my Steam library wherever I go. Offline. The Steam Deck is pretty big with a decent sized screen. I took a couple of pictures to give anyone who’s interested in the Steam Deck an idea of it’s size. The system does get really hot. So it’s best to take breaks and not play for extended periods. The battery life is horrible. Playing a game like “Grounded,” drains the battery in about an hour. And thats running the game with almost the best settings. The only thing I really don’t like about the Steam Deck, and it’s the same reason I didn’t like the Nintendo Switch, is how close the anolog stick is to the A, X, Y and B buttons. And the same with the D-Pad. I’m constantly catching the side of the analog whenever I move my thumb to press one of those buttons. Quite annoying. But other than that, if your looking for a handheld to play some really awesome games, then get a Steam Deck.

    As someone outside of the steamdeck geographic availability, i had no way on how to adquire this product.Before someone gets sassy, the steam store demands the delivery address matches you billing address, so i had no way to purchase it.It was delivered fast and without a single fingerprint on the device, matching my order perfectly.

    The Steam deck its self looks fine came with a charger and the case as it stated that’s what the 2 stars is for. When the steam deck finally arriving after it not shipping for over 2 weeks it was completely dead I them plugged it in to let it charge hour or 2 later I set it up all was going good till about 10 mins into using it the fan got really really loud the steam deck its self was hot to the touch like the screen and back of the deck it become very slow I was just browsing the steam store and it was taking 2-3 seconds to scroll sad deal that even on Azonate good deals are too good to be true

    So I got this to play my pc games on the go and it does the job but man that battery life is terrible. Fully charged playing Baldur’s Gate 3 and then 2 hours later it’s completely dead. I’m sorry but 2hr battery life is a joke.

    Son loves it. Only issue is the system doesn’t work well with Xbox controllers, you need to use PlayStation controllers for no input lag. Probably cheaper if you buy directly from valve though. Didn’t know that when I bought it.

    One for my husband on his birthday, and one later for me!According to him – His only dislike is the short battery life, something like our oculus where you can only play for like 6 hours before it dies. He loves using the external dock he bought to play on the tv. Versatile and travel friendly. It’s like a PC on the go.My opinion – I agree with his, but it feels bulky compared to the switch. Playable though! Our hands are big, but I still find myself having to take my hand off of the sides just to do certain things. It’s in between a tablet and handheld system really. His hands are bigger than mine so he hasn’t had the same issue. It takes some getting used to for sure!In the video I held my mouse and switch to show a comparison. I bought a 1tb card to add to it. I think the price point is good… but I’m definitely not buying another one any time soon! As you can see in the video I’m also ‘testing’ my switch with tf to see how it compares to the SD in terms of ‘downloading games’, just to see which one I like better.

    Bought it for our son’s birthday. I think he still lives here. Haven’t seen him in months. I see evidence if his existence: dirty dishes in the sink next to an empty dishwasher, his backpack in the middle of the hallway, and the occasional outburst from winning or losing something he’s experiencing on the device…. It’s much nicer around here … 😜He says it’s an insanely fast, nice machine and the graphics are great. He is the envy of his friends, who I don’t see much anymore because he’s on the steam deck.

    I have recently received the steam deck, and it is bulky. I brought the steam machine after some research. I discover that you cannot find any other handheld with similar or better performances for affordable prices. For example, the Aya Neo offers better performance and graphical fidelity than the steam deck. However, the prices of these competitors with superior hardware are two times the prices of the steam deck base model, which is only $399! I prefer the 399 models, but since I was in a rush, I brought the most premium variant of the steam deck, which is 650 bucks when you buy it from steam. So if you are purchasing the steam deck, I recommend the base model because the only good thing about the most expensive model is additional accessories and a bigger Micro SD. Plus, you will save money and buy your SD to save even more.

    While sick in bed, it’s nice to have my steam library available without the lag of a laptop. Some newer early access games do crash, which is not unexpected, but Skyrim Special Edition does also crash on this steam deck unless you really bring the graphics down. You’ll also want to keep the charger plugged in with this while gaming, but if you’re waiting on updates and such and the steam deck is charged over 80% or so then you should be fine.
