These are the best headphones for children. They are sturdy, volume limited, and comfortable to wear. I bought two pairs of these three years ago for my kids and they have survived multiple plane trips across the country, road trips, camping trips, and the added stress of weekly exchanges between mom and dad’s house. They get tossed in bags, left out in the cold, crushed by rock collections, and all kinds of other stressful circumstances. Three years later they are in great condition. So, naturally, when my daughter needed a pair to leave in her classroom I immediately bought the same model. In addition to being colorful and well-sized to fit little heads and ears, they have volume limitation to protect the kids from themselves.Another GREAT feature that isn’t played up enough is the sharing aspect of this product. You can literally just plug another set of headphones into the far side of these headphones and share audio with a friend. this is really useful when one kid has a movie and the other doesn’t, or if a friend is riding along and does not have a device. Just plug in the headphones to the other side of the set and away they go. It also helps if you have limited data and want two kids watching a movie together instead of streaming on your 4G cell phone hotspot separately.Altogether, great product. Trust me, we’ve tried our best to break them! One person found this helpful

I like these headphones. I bought them for my niece and I’m sure she’s going to love them when I give them to her on her birthday. I’ve personally tested these. I’ve read comments saying these were too small and didn’t fit on some children. I’m a 44 year old man and these headphones extended out enough to fit my big head. I’m sure I looked a bit funny wearing them! Some people also said they aren’t loud enough to hear sounds over background noise. Well, I have a whirring PC right next to me, a ceiling fan spinning on high above me, a desktop air purifier that I turned on high, and I also turned on some music on my PC and had it fairly loud. I connected the headphones to the Kid’s Kindle and turned the Kindle volume all the way up. I could hear everything in the video. And we all know how well children can block out things they don’t want to hear! I was actually surprised at the sound quality. Decent lows, mids, and highs. The cable has a button on it and when I pressed it, it paused the video on the Kindle. Press it again and the video resumes. Great customer service too. I inquired about purchasing a spare cable and got a very quick and kind response. Oh, the other nice thing about the cable is the ends are straight. So many headphones had 90 degree angled ends. Well, that would cover one the volume buttons on the Kid’s Kindle so these worked out nicely.5 people found this helpful

Great to study with.
These headphones have a double purpose: they are great and very clear to listen to music or educational YouTube videos but when NOT in use for that reason, will block out disturbing noise as well. They come in a variety of colors so each student has his own personal headphone in its favorite tint.In a household of many children, the eldest may be doing assignments online while the youngest ones run thru the house playing, unaware of the disturbance they are creating. The headphones muffle their rumpus.

My wife & I were looking for a pair of headphones for our son to use on a long road trip. We searched local stores, and online, and decided upon the LilGadgets. A couple of factors weighed most heavily in our decision.1. Volume must be limited. We know from experience, that if our son has the option, he will turn any headphone as loud as possible. Don’t know why he does this, but it forced us to look for headphones that limited the volume to a reasonable level. This removed a large number of possible headphones from our options. LilGadgets has volume control, but the maximum is probably not going to cause our son hearing loss.2. Good padding: Lilgadgets are well padded. Not just on the earphone section, but also along the top of the head. That made a difference in the comfort level, and the more comfortable, the more worn.3. Compact: These actually fold up and that is really handy.A couple of things that we were pleasantly surprised about was the storage bag (didn’t know that was included – and it is a nice touch), as well as the cable. This cable is not like the traditional plastic coated wire. This feels more like a small piece of rope. It is just as flexible, but seems much more robust and less likely to tangle.Overall, we love these headphones. The color options were nice as well – green for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – how can you go wrong with that?

These are soft, they fold up nicely, the bag is great and the ability to share ports so my kids can hear the same device at the same time is genius. The design is impeccable. Also, no complaints about the size, they’re adjustable, they fit my 2 year old and my 5 year old and they don’t seem to be getting small (on the charts, my kids have big heads). The sound on these headphones, however, is abysmal. My daughter is immediately disinterested in what she’s watching because she can barely hear through them. In the car and on the plane is a joke and not worth bringing these along–even in the hotel room, not sufficient. On the plane I tried to adjust the volume while listening to our tablet and I couldn’t hear much of anything. I felt kinda bad for giving her something to watch but no way to hear it! Please fix these so that the sound can be as good as the fit and convenience. I bought other kids headphones (Kidz Gear Wired) on Amazon for my son, they’re not nearly as luxurious but they work much better.**Amendment to my review:LilGadgets contacted me and promptly delivered us a new pair of headphones–they insisted that although the earphones are sound-limiting, the volume should be more than sufficient to hear in a traveling car or airplane. And they were right. Our old pair must have had some sort of glitch because this pair is equally as wonderful in design as the last pair but we have had no trouble with the sound at all. I’m so grateful for the incredible customer service and I’m even happier to have a great pair of headphones for my kids, traveling is MUCH more pleasant! I will be buying more of these for sure.

Impressive quality and design at a great price!
They feel nice and sturdy and are coated with a rubbery plastic which makes them less slippery for little hands.* They fold down to make them easier to pack and come with a cloth carrying bag.* The volume limited feature provides peace of mind that the kids aren’t blowing out their ear drums, and it’s still loud enough for an air plane.* The audio cable is removable and wrapped with braided cloth which makes it less likely to tangle and easier to hold.* One of my favorite features is the additional headphone jack where you can plug in a second pair of headphones for parents or another kid!* Nicely padded and sized perfectly for smaller heads. These never fell off my daughter’s head even as she squirmed around on the long flight. The audio quality is pretty good too. Not the same fidelity you get from a good pair of adult’s headphones, but good enough for kids. I plugged in my headphones to the auxiliary jack and we both watched one of the movies on her tablet, and the sound quality on my headphones was great — there’s no noticeable degradation.Suffice it to say, I was very impressed by the quality and design of these headphones, especially given the low price tag. We’ve only used them on one flight so far so I can’t speak to how well they hold up over time, but everything looks like it’s well made and I don’t expect any problems. Highly recommended!

My kids are destructive. This has been the fifth pair of headphones we have bought them, and so far the best by a long shot. They seem to have a solution for everything that has gone wrong with the previous pairs. The biggest issue was that their heads are small, we have a 3 and a 5yo (We have been trying to find headphones for the 5yo since he was 2.). So as you can imagine their heads have a good size difference. Well these fit both of them! They almost are too big for the 3yo, but they work. They are sturdy. We have had two pairs of other headphones fall apart. One pair of previous children’s headphones (which has high reviews on here) our child chewed through the cord. These ones actually have detachable cords. This is an ingenious concept. If anything happens to the cord, it is an inexpensive replacement. These headphones seem to be a good volume too. We drive on long trips and let the kids watch their shows while we listen to music. They don’t say they can’t hear or that our music is bothering them. Some other great little bonuses to these headphones that I wasn’t expecting… You can plug the cord into either side of the headphones. This is a great way to help keep the cord out of the way.Another thing is that you can attach once set of headphones to another and they can share watching the same thing without needing a splitter. I haven’t tried it, but I wonder if you could do this with more than 2 headphones. This may be great for a teacher.
